Taking some steps around Brisbane to get all up in this cancer business!

As cycling isn't my thing, I'll be walking around the place in August :)
Breast cancer was my starting point, and while that has been stable and under control for a while (yey), my brain metastases have been a bit trickier to manage. 

It's been almost six years since I was diagnosed, and I've been on six different chemotherapies, two different immunotherapies, had surgery, breast radiation, and twice had stereotactic brain radiation.
 I'll be on weekly chemotherapy (two weeks on, one off) for the rest of my life. 

Now, this isn't a sob story! I am so thankful to all the amazing minds and all the warriors who tested and tried the medicines before me and those who will come after me. I only want to say that I'm so fortunate to be able to participate in challenges like this to help support all the good work anyone who dedicates their life to the cancer field - in all capacities!
