Every small action makes a even bigger change
Right now, 56 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.
This August, I will be taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loved ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart. Recently, one of our own family members went through the battle with breast cancer. Watching someone you love face the uncertainty, treatment, and emotional toll that comes with this disease is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. It has opened my eyes to just how many families are affected, and I've also seen friends and others around me experience the same heartbreaking journey.
No family should have to hear the words. While research has come a long way, there is still so much more that needs to be done to improve treatments, increase survival rates, and ultimately find a cure.
That's why I'm raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). Every donation, no matter the size, helps fund life-changing research and brings us one step closer to a future where no one has to lose someone they love to breast cancer.
