This walk is for you, Nan. You are the reason I step up. You faced breast cancer with strength, grace, and courage. I watched you hold onto hope through every appointment, every test, and every moment of uncertainty, and somehow, even in the hardest days, you still had room to care for everyone else around you. You lived through it, with your humour, your softness, and your fierce love still intact. You reminded this family where our resilience comes from, not the loud, showy kind, but the quiet power of getting up each day and choosing to fight. This year, it means even more to me because more of my family is stepping up too. Your strength has been passed down, your survival is our motivation.

Support my challenge to step up to breast cancer!

This August, I’m stepping up to breast cancer for the second year. My family is joining me, and together, we’re walking in honour of our beautiful grandmother, and for every mother, sister, daughter, friend and loved one impacted by this disease.

Every day, 58 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s 58 families, 58 stories—and we want to help change that.

My family and I are raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation to support life-saving breast cancer research, with the hope that one day, no one will have to lose someone they love to this disease.
