Wow! Oh my goodness! AMAZING!
One month ago we had this crazy little idea to show someone we love just how amazing they really are. 
When I look at our teams final achievement, I am compelled to sit down and be humble. Gracious in the good will, charity and generosity of our beautiful community of sponsors. I applaud you!!

Stepping up 2024 

Happy Heavenly Birthday Cuz!! We miss you here on earth.

Today 5 days left of our challenge. It's day 26 of the stepping up challenge. Today is also your day Maree, its your birthday! The first date on your epitaph before the dash. I miss you cuz, your kids have grown into beautiful young adults. Your dad misses you and your mum. What a cruel beast you are breast cancer! we despise breast cancer, we plan on a future without breast cancer. And that is why we are stepping up! Come on team we got this!

One week to go!!! Stay calm and think Pink!

8 days left to complete our challenge, it made me stop and think, what is time?
For me time is like a sneaky ninja, the ultimate thief. I often find myself saying "where did the time go".
This month has been no exception, what we have experienced during the past 24 days is nothing less than spectacular.  Who knew there were so many beautiful supportive people in our communities. Like secret superheroes, they've been laying in wait, peeling of their masks, revealing their secret identities. Rallying around in support spreading kindness, love and hope. We are not quite finished yet, please don't stop now! We have raised so much more than our original $1000 pledge and every single dollar goes to essential breast cancer research. 
They need a future without Breast Cancer!!
Come on Team!! Let's bring it home and finish strong we got this!!! 

9 Days to Go!!! How Pink are you going to finish?

Wow, 9 days to complete our challenge. I did not expect 22 days ago that it was possible for me to walk 57km. Not at once, collectively though, worth throwing my hat in for a go at that.
What is Completion of the challenge?
For me it is a moment for reflection, a moment to stand proud and in honour. A moment to show someone very special how much we care. A moment to step out of a comfort zone and take on the challenge to Step up to Breast Cancer. Our brilliant team of sponsors have rallied like absolute champions and deserve showers of "thank you's" for their generosity, please don't stop now.... please continue to share our page over the next 9 days - wear something pink every day for the next 9 days - be as pinkly bold or as pinkly subtle as you dare. Daily countdown blogs to come and more photos on the way. Stay Tuned as we cross the finish line together.

Stepping up to Breast Cancer!!! Their Future is counting on it!

Grandchildren, how divine are mine! The greatest feeling in this world is wrapping their little arms around my neck, scooping them up and holding them tight, a blessing that so many grandmas, and grandchildren don't get to share. So for their future, their children's future & for our current researching efforts I am stepping up to breast cancer! And WOW! WOW! WOW! we have just smashed another goal & raised the bar again - outstanding! The generous support of our sponsors combined with the hard work of our special team queens (we love you) take a bow, what a spectacular show of support and love. I applaud each and all you!!! keep up the amazing work, stronger together!

This is my daughter and I. we are so close and we have something that is never taken for granted. We have each other. My Aunty Di and daughter Maree (my cousin) they had each other too, both diagnosed, through treatment and not without a stoic fight to the end, earning their wings together - Breast Cancer needs to go. The ACT Compass Group Chartwells team at Burgmann stepping up to breast cancer because we are stronger together! My shirt arrived and it was a great chance to show it off and spread the message of hope through support and raising essential funds for research. Way to go Team!

Pinking it up my way!!!

Hi Team its been "one of those weeks" that whirl winded into a "few of those days" and now "its the time" to get stepping.. and off i went with all my anger into my footsteps i ended up doing 4.3km... and feel amazing. My healer is my fighter - my colleague (queen u know who u r) even in her battle she finds time to inspire me and that's why i am doing this. whole epic challenge. all of the queens that inspire me to keep going. see that smile - its for you my ladies !!!! now come on get out there and kick cancers butt!!!!!

Day 5 of the 57km challenge and we are on the way. Log your kms if you’re not sure how I am happy to help. I have been out in my superhero pink cape spreading awareness and meeting some really great people along the way. It is good fun and for a good cause what a great mix. Keep up the fantastic work team
