Power in Pink – Step Up to Breast Cancer 2026

Right now, 56 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.

This August, our team Power in Pink is taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer to support the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loved ones affected by this disease.

We are raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support life-saving research that gives hope to so many families.

This cause is deeply personal to me.

In 2024, I was diagnosed with stage two, node-positive breast cancer that had spread to my lymph nodes. What followed was a year of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and ongoing treatment.

I’m still continuing preventative treatment, and I’ve recently been invited to take part in a clinical trial starting in September—something I’ve chosen to do in hope of helping future patients, just as research has helped me.

Inspired by the late Professor Richard Scolyer and his call to support cancer research and clinical trials, I feel even more strongly about the importance of this work.
