Support my challenge to Step Up to Breast Cancer!

Right now, 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.

This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.

I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

My breast cancer scare

This year i have decided to take part in the Step up to Breast Cancer walk again. But this year for myself. In May this year I found a lump in my breast and being a mum I kind of brushed it off as it being a blocked milk duct or something of the sorts. After a couple of days I started to worry more and decided to get checked. I was then rushed for ultrasound scans which showed multiple lumps. Which then lead to biopsy, and now surgery. My biopsy came back inconclusive, but no malignancy seen. Meaning there were no cancer cells. But they aren't 100% certain on what it is and due to my family history with Breast cancer they want to remove the palpable lump. Although, so far I have been lucky, it is still such a terrifying thing to be experiencing and I want to do something to try and help raise funds for more research.
