NBCS Year 11 Community Initiative

NBCS Year 11 Fundraising for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)

Every day, 58 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer, and tragically, 9 lives are lost. That’s why Year 11 students from Northern Beaches Christian School are coming together to raise funds and awareness in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

In Term 3, our grade will be raising funds and awareness in the following ways:

·      Weeks 3–4 | Secondary Assemblies: Staff volunteers will be spray-colouring their hair to raise awareness — consider donating to show your support!

·      Week 5 | Year 11/12 BBQ – “Snag it for a Cause!” Held at the Treehouse during lunch to raise funds and build community.

·      Year 11 Pink Ribbon Day: Wear a pink ribbon and bring a gold coin donation to show your support.

·      Weeks 1–6 | Lolly Jar Guessing Competition: Enter for a small donation and guess how many lollies for your chance to win!

·      Consider donating money to support this great cause!

Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to changing lives and saving them. Join us in making a difference!
