NEED SOME INSPO?

Over 6 months, Jessica and her team, hosted a handful of community events to help raise funds for breast cancer research. They ran clay making workshops and Taylor Swift themed painting evenings, where people could pay what they felt comfortable and then this money was added to their fundraising total.

Jessica and her team were inspired to fundraise for NBCF as breast cancer touches so many lives. They have clients who have undergone treatment, which really hit close to home. As a proud female-ownded business, with a largely female client base, the cause felt especially personal.

Jessica was amazed by how many other businesses and people were willing to be involved to support their fundraiser, for example by donating products or services to their raffle prizes.

Jessica said "
the most rewarding part of what we do has been supporting my clients and their families during some of the toughest moments of their lives."

THIS IS WHAT WE’RE UP AGAINST

Since our inception in 1994, NBCF has invested over $200M into more than 600 world-class research projects across Australia. Since 1992-1996, the five-year relative survival rate for breast cancer in Australia increasd from around 80% to 93%.

This is progress to be proud of but the job is not done.

Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia and the most common cancer among females.

We’re determined to create a better tomorrow. We know research matters, and it is central and critical to improving breast cancer outcomes.

That’s why we fund the very best breast cancer research in Australia by awarding grants via an open national, competitive and rigorous peer review process.
