CANCER RESEARCH
Get your school together and hold a fundraiser for those impacted by breast cancer.
Holding a fundraiser at your school is a great way to bring the school and local community together, while doing something good!
You could take to the field and hold a pink sports day. Turn your next non-uniform day into a pink dress-up day. Hold a school fete, or finally get to see your teacher dying their hair pink!
Whatever you decide to do, register your school today to help raise funds for world-class breast cancer research.
HOW IT WORKS
NEED SOME INSPO?
Every year, this incredible school bring their local community together to host a Fun Run and Walk.
They ask individuals to run or walk 3km, 5km or 10km across the day depending on their age and ability. It is completely up to you to decide what you want to do! They just ask that everyone dresses in... PINK!
They charge an entry fee for tickets, with a percentage of the proceeds coming back to NBCF.
This incredible event is a way to create awareness while raising vital funds for breast cancer research.
SCHOOL EVENT IDEAS
You could organise a school fete and ask people to host different stalls, including things like face painting, a food stall, a crafts selling stall, book selling or other things like a games stand!

HOST A NON-UNIFORM DAY
Get your school to turn pink for the day! Ask your school if you can host a non school uniform day. Then ask the kids and teachers to wear a touch of pink. In return, ask for a gold coin donation.
GIVE YOUR TEACHER A NEW HAIR DO!
Nick and his amazing school community decided to shave their heads after a number of members were impacted by breast cancer. They found 2-3 weeks of fundraising was the perfect amount of time for them.

THIS IS WHAT WE’RE UP AGAINST
Since NBCF's inception in 1994, NBCF has invested over $200M into more than 600 world-class research projects across Australia. Since 1992-1996, the five-year relative survival rate for breast cancer in Australia increasd from around 80% to 93%. This is progress to be proud of but the job is not done. Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia and the most common cancer among females. By registering your fundraiser, you can take a stand against breast cancer and help NBCF raise much needed funds for life-changing breast cancer research.
Research is the best way to stop deaths from breast cancer.
