Support my challenge to Step Up to Breast Cancer!

Right now, 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.

This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.

I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

21.08 slow run and walk

Friday 21st Aug
Easy walk to gym for a easy short run, walk to do groceries and walk home. I think I'll do this after August as well quite enjoyed it except it is very dark

20.08 walking and running intervals

Thursday 20th Aug
Mainly fast walking and intervals for 4.1kms. trying to increase fitness. 12.5km/hr felt very fast, legs going very quickly I could only do 1min worth. Feel great afterwards. Doing distance for awesome cause. struggling a bit as haven't been Greta over past couple of weeks, not sure if everything. catching up with me

17.08 run on treadmill pouring rain

Slow run/walk on treadmill, easy day.

16.08 walk home

Sunday 16th Aug
Walk home after run, warm down and very dark

2km interval walk 1min 30sex and run at 10km/hr for 2mins, walk, 11km/hr 1min 30sec, walk, 12km/hr 1min, walk then walked home

Road run followed by treadmill. felt good was just getting. dark so ran to the gym to finish

After last run, walked into Shop bought some groceries and walked home. walk home afterwards 1km. legs were hurting so best to walk.

Ran again after picked daughter up approx 20mins after last run. walked for 5 mins first to warm up again.

Needed to stop and get rice so walked rest of way home after run with griceries

Late start at 5.30pm. some places got to dark so had to turn around. slow run as stopped at lots of lights and lots of cars.

08.08 ripley run

Saturday 8th Aug
5km to Coles and back. leg played up walked up steeper hill. I wasn't out of breath, it felt good

06.08 3.5km as only had 20mins

Thursday 6th Aug
Run was ok, felt good. only 20mins had to pick up daughter. love doing this for a good cause

05.08 tough run birthday work celebration

Wednesday 5th Aug
Had a tough run, ate lots of sweets high sugar foods, forgot my tablets at lunch that keep me awake. struggled hopefully do better tomoz. had my work birthday party today, Biscoff cheesecake, donuts, triple choc cookies etc.

First run for breast cancer

Sunday 2nd Aug
1,5 weeks after Radiation finished and still kicking goals. Be proud of myself. Life's too short, get to it. camping at Hidden Camp, ran up and down mountain well walked big/steep hills. 😂
