I'VE PLEDGED TO STEP UP FOR Aunty Rie

This run is dedicated to my Aunty Rie, who we lost to breast cancer 17 years ago. Although I was young when she passed, her memory has remained with our family and serves as a reminder of the profound impact breast cancer can have on those we love. I am running in her honour and in support of all those who have faced, or are currently facing, breast cancer. Through this fundraiser, I hope to contribute to the research, support services, and awareness that help make a difference in the lives of so many families. Forever remembered, forever loved. 💕

Support my challenge to Step Up to Breast Cancer!

Right now, 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.

This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.

I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

Please make a donation to support my challenge and let's step up to breast cancer together!

Thank you for your support.

Week 5 complete: every step counts

Sunday 14th Jun
This week marked the completion of Week 5 of my Runna training program as I continue preparing for the Step Up to Breast Cancer event in August. Reaching this point feels like a significant milestone. Not only am I training for an important cause, but I'm also proving to myself what is possible. After undergoing two surgeries on my right knee, there was a time when I wasn't sure what my physical capabilities would look like in the future. Being able to train consistently and work towards this event is something I don't take for granted. As a busy mum, fitting training into everyday life can be challenging, but each run serves as a reminder of why I started this journey. Breast Cancer has touched the lives of so many individuals and families, and I'm proud to be doing my small part to support research, awareness, and those affected by the disease. Not every run has felt easy. Some days I've felt strong and confident, while others have required determination simply to get out the door. But this journey isn't about perfection, it’s about persistence, progress, and continuing to move forward one step at a time. Thank you to everyone who has supported my fundraising efforts so far through donations, encouragement, and sharing my page. Your support means so much and helps motivate me to keep going. With Week 5 now complete, I'm looking forward to the challenges and achievements that Week 6 will bring. Every step counts.
