Support my challenge to Step Up to Breast Cancer!

Right now, 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.

This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.

I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

Please make a donation to support my challenge and let's step up to breast cancer together!

Thank you for your support.

Running every step together: my 112 km challenge for the national breast cancer foundation

Tuesday 4th Aug
There are moments in life that change you forever. For me, one of those moments came when my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Suddenly, our lives revolved around appointments, treatments, uncertainty, and hope. Watching someone you love face cancer is incredibly difficult. You wish you could take away their pain, but often the only thing you can do is stand beside them, encourage them, and never let them face the journey alone. That is why, this August, I have committed to running 112 kilometres in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). This challenge is about much more than kilometres. Every run is a tribute to my wife’s strength, courage, and determination. Every step reminds me that while treatment can be exhausting, hope keeps us moving forward. Recently, I completed my first solo half marathon (21.1 km). It was one of the toughest physical challenges I’ve taken on, but it gave me a glimpse of what perseverance feels like. As I crossed the finish line, I realised that my wife has been running a much harder race every single day. Compared to her journey, my kilometres are small—but they are my way of showing that I am with her every step of the way. By taking on this 112 km challenge, I also hope to support the incredible work of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Their investment in life-changing research brings us closer to a future where no family has to hear the words, “You have breast cancer.” If my journey inspires even one person to donate, support someone they love, or prioritise their own health, then every kilometre will have been worthwhile. To everyone who has already supported us—thank you. Your encouragement has carried us through some of our hardest days. To anyone reading this, I invite you to join me. Whether you donate, share this page, or simply cheer me on, you are helping make a difference. This August, I’m running 112 kilometres. For my wife. For every family affected by breast cancer. For hope. For a future with zero deaths from breast cancer. Thank you for being part of this journey. ❤️ 🏃🏾‍♂️💗
