I'm now a Pink Hero
I am running this marathon in support of breast cancer research after seeing the devastating impact this disease has had on so many people close to me. Friends and family members have battled breast cancer with incredible strength and courage, but most recently I lost my cousin Hannah after a short and aggressive battle with the disease at the young age of 35. Running this marathon is my way of honouring her memory, supporting those still fighting, and helping raise awareness and funds for vital research so that one day fewer families have to experience this heartbreak.
