Andrea’s Unexpected Adventure
Last week, my beautiful mum was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. The news shocked our family, as my mum is one of the healthiest people we know. I have worked with plenty of people navigating difficult cancer’s and chemo, but I never once thought that my own mum and family would have to face this fate.
Right now, 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day. Mum and I will be walking/running 58km in August to support breast cancer research. I know it’s not much, but hopefully it’s enough so that no one else’s mother needs to be given a life changing diagnosis.
