Our Misson
Albany or Bust is a community fundraising initiative dedicated to raising awareness and vital funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Throughout 2026, we will be hosting a range of fundraising events, challenges and community activities as we build towards our biggest goal yet.... a 400km walk from Perth to Albany.
On 26 December 2026, our team will set off on an incredible journey, following the Albany Highway from Perth to Albany. Over the course of the walk, we will cover approximately 400 kilometres, pushing ourselves physically and mentally to support a cause that impacts so many individuals and families across Australia.
Every event, donation, share and word of encouragement helps us get one step closer to our fundraising target and makes a meaningful difference in the fight against breast cancer.

Thursday 18th JunDid you know that every day 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer, and sadly, 9 Australians lose their lives to this disease every day?
This is a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts.
For Mark, as a father of six daughters, the statistics surrounding breast cancer are confronting. Like any parent, he would hate to see one of his girls face a breast cancer diagnosis or become part of these heartbreaking statistics.
For Arnya, the cause is personal for a different reason. Her Nana was diagnosed with cancer and was fortunate enough to have it detected early, allowing her to receive treatment and continue living a healthy life. It was a reminder of just how important early detection, awareness, and ongoing research truly are.
That's why we've decided to challenge ourselves and make a difference.
Throughout 2026, we will be hosting fundraising events and community challenges leading up to our biggest challenge yet. On 26 December 2026, we will set off on a 400km journey from Perth to Albany, following the Albany Highway, to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and support their vision of Zero Deaths from Breast Cancer.
Every donation, big or small, helps fund world-class breast cancer research, supports those affected by the disease, and brings us one step closer to a future where no Australian loses their life to breast cancer.
