It's that time of year again...stepping up to breast cancer 5th time!

Right now, 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day. These are scary statistics, and personally, 2 people who are close to me have been diagnosed since I stepped up last year. Sad face here. 

 I was first diagnosed in 2018, and after surgery, chemo, radiation and a lot of hard physical and mental healing thinking I was all clear, diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2023....grrrr.  But since 2018, the advances in research, the different ways people are now treated,  the medications on the PBS, even the way the different breast cancers are named,  shows where the dollars go and gives us all more HOPE. 

This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends,  loved ones and MYSELF who are impacted by this devastating disease.

I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives. Trust me, the research is HAPPENING!!!Phew!
