I'VE PLEDGED TO STEP UP FOR Rita Stasiuk

After signing up for this challenge, my beautiful Mum Rita was diagnosed with breast cancer (the very next day). She is handling it with grace and charging ahead with her head held high while navigating treatment options. I’m now doing this challenge not only for my sister in law Lauren who we lost too soon, but for my Mum Rita and for my Aunties Olga and Roz who are also breast cancer survivors. The impact of breast cancer is far reaching but the good news is that with ongoing research, raised awareness and early detection, survival rates continue to improve.

This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.

I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.
