I'm Stepping up to the Breast Cancer Challenge by walking 450km this month
Every day 58 people are diagnosed with breast cancer. 1 in 7 women and 1 in 566 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their life time.
This challenge has an extra special place in my heart as in March 2021 I was diagnosed and then in February 2024 my mum was also diagnosed with breast cancer. We have both fought our battles and have come out the other side but not everyone is so lucky.
For the month of August I have committed to walking 450km to raise vital funds for research to get one step closer to our vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer. ?
