Support my challenge to step up to breast cancer!
Right now, 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.
This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for me, the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.
In Feb 2024 I diagnosed with stage 3 and grade 3 breast cancer. I underwent 8 months of chemotherapy and radiation that unfortunately wasn’t enough. The cancer spread to my lymph nodes. In Jan 2025 I had to start new treatment and at my one year scan results revealed cysts in my other breast so in June I underwent a second mastectomy.
This disease is relentless. My hope is that one day a cure will be found to spare others from the brutality of this disease and its current form of treatment.
