Support my challenge to step up to breast cancer!
Right now, 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.
This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

Friday 1st AugThis year I am doing it in support of my beautiful cousin Wendy Simpson. Here is her survival story;
“Just before Christmas 2008 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 invasive breast cancer (which means it had spread into my lymph nodes).
January 2009 I had the lump removed together with all my lymph nodes on my left side. This was followed by chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Tamoxifen tablets for a year and also Herceptin injections every week for a year. Herceptin at the time was a trial drug and not freely available. I was asked if I would join the drug trial and I agreed as I wanted to beat this and if this would help of course I was going to try.
I have now been clear of cancer for 16 years. I still have yearly mammograms but so far so good.”
Words cannot describe how truely incredible Wendy is and I can only say she’s one of the most strongest women I know ?
