Stepping Up for My Mum – A Breast Cancer Survivor & Superhero
In late 2022, my incredible mum was diagnosed with breast cancer.
She faced it with unbelievable courage, enduring rounds of radiation therapy and showing a kind of strength—both mental and physical—that left me in awe. Today, she’s not just a survivor. She’s my hero.
This August, I’m taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer to raise money and awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). Every step I take is for her—and for the 58 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every single day.
I’m doing this to help fund life-saving research so more families can have the same hope mine did.
