Why I'm going pink
The reason I'm getting behind this fundraiser is because I lost my Mum to this awful disease in 2003.
The goal of the fundraiser is to reduce deaths from breast cancer to ZERO by 2030.
Every bit helps, so please donate towards helping the researchers improve early detection methods, and to improve the effectiveness of scanning methods such as mammograms.
Currently 8 women lose their life to breast cancer every day in Australia, so let's help change these statistics!
Australia, get ready, I’m going pink.
From 3-9 June, the National Breast Cancer Foundation is challenging the men and women of Australia to GO PINK in support of the thousands of mothers, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, daughters and sons that have been – or will be – affected by breast cancer.
I'm going pink because breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. It’s a disease we cannot ignore. But together, we can change the outcomes.
While going pink this June, I’m raising money for game-changing breast cancer research. Please donate to my page, you’ll be helping us step closer to our ultimate goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
YOU can make a difference. Let me know if you want to GO PINK with me!
