Michelle Ireland has just received the amazing news that she is now cancer free after her battle with breast cancer diagnosed in October last year. She has gone through chemotherapy, radiation, a lumpectomy and now immunotherapy treatment to fight this horrible disease and has been very strong throughout the journey. It has taught us all resilience and she has shown incredible strength and positivity through this devastating time and we are so proud and thankful that she has made it through the toughest battle of her life. 

She and her family now aim to spread awareness and build funds for breast cancer support for all women and men affected. 

Without getting a mammogram she wouldn’t have caught it so early and her journey would have looked a lot different so we are fighting for people to get checked if anything suspicious appears. 

We are all eternally grateful and blessed to have such a strong support system behind us including family and friends and the whole oncology team, nurses, specialists, doctors and receptionists who made her battle significantly easier and helped her every step of the way. 

We are all completing 58km of walking / running to show our support for Michelle and for all affected by breast cancer. 

We are doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.
