Support my challenge to step up to breast cancer!
In March this year, just by random chance I found a lump. I pushed, persisted and pursued to have test after test. Just before my 27th birthday, I was diagnosed with high grade DCIS that had calcified most of my breast. After my mastectomy, lab results showed stage 1 invasive cells hidden in my tissue.
As I wait for further treatment, I won’t be delaying raising breast awareness. Most particularly, I aim to raise awareness to young women, whom, like myself would have never considered the risks of a breast cancer diagnosis in your 20’s.
