Small steps for big hope!
In August I'll be stepping up to breast cancer and helping raise funds that support critical prevention and research for breast cancer.
In 2023, I unfortunately became one of the 57 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every day. Despite being at my fittest & healthiest, a feeling that something wasn’t right led to scans, biopsies and an unwelcome diagnosis of hormone+, metastatic breast cancer.
Despite my diagnosis - I have, and continue to, respond extremely well to my treatment. I’m on a journey still and have lots of difficult days... but I'm also stepping up to cancer and not letting it stop me!
By taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer I'm raising funds which ultimately improve quality of life, create new treatment options and give hope to people like me, as well as providing greater prevention and support services.
