Supporting life saving research
This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer to raise funds for lifesaving research that helps prevent and detect breast cancer earlier, while also supporting new treatments that enable people living with metastatic breast cancer to live longer and better lives.
Following my own diagnosis, I've seen firsthand the critical role research plays. Every breakthrough brings new treatment options, greater hope, and helps us stay in the fight for longer. It also brings us closer to a future with zero deaths from breast cancer.
While significant progress has been made, there is still much more work to do. Every day, 56 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer, highlighting the urgent need for continued investment in research.
This August I'm raising funds to help accelerate the breakthroughs that will save lives, improve outcomes, and give more people hope.
