Right now, 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.
This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
I am doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.

This August, I'm challenging myself to run 56km for the 56 Australians who are diagnosed with breast cancer every single day.
As many of you know, a few years ago, my mother-in-law Sue, was diagnosed with breast cancer, and to say it rocked our family would be an understatement. Watching someone you love go through treatment, uncertainty and fear is something no family is ever truly prepared for.
During some of her lowest moments, the National Breast Cancer Foundation provided support, information and hope when it was needed most. Their work makes a real difference to individuals and families facing a breast cancer diagnosis.
By taking on this challenge, I want to give back to the foundation that helped support our family and help ensure others can access the same care and support during their journey.
Every donation, big or small, will help fund vital support services, research and programs for those impacted by breast cancer.
