This August, our team “Braves” is taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease. I decided to name our team“Braves” after a great team of softball ladies I have been privileged enough to play with, two of whom have battled this disease at great cost and displayed incredible grace through out. They are an inspiration to me especially. Breast Cancer has touched my family with my Aunts and my great grandmother died from the disease.
We are doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.
