🤞Four weeks into treatment and the adventure continues! Week one was all good, the steroids they gave me made me talk like the energizer bunny on steroids. I found it funny. I don’t think people who rang did, because I couldn’t stop, despite in my head, I was saying STOP TALKING. A few good nights sleep and onto a sinus infection, fever and a hospital visit. The hospital was great, super quick at ruling everything out and following the expected protocol for fever when having chemo. Thank you Angliss Hospital! All treated home to bed and still able to get my second dose. 😷Week 2 Super anxiety from being sick and tired and stressed. But all goes well. Bit tired that week as to be expected. Bloods on Friday and then chemo CANCELLED! Bloods abnormal take a break and bring them down. Tears, anxiety, stress in not knowing how this affects everything. Asked the questions as soon as I could and all good. Yay no need to stress! 🥹Week 4. My bloods are fine, adjust chemo doses, and best news EVER the lump has already SHRUNK! 🌈 It has responded in just the right way! More hours in a chair! It was a nightmare, not the needles, not the lights or the sounds but sitting and sitting and sitting! When do I ever sit down for over 2 hours? Unless it’s a movie and even then I get up to go the toilet, usually missing the best part of the movie. I felt like a kid in school, stand up, sit down, chair up, chair down, unplug, off to toilet, back again, stretch and sit down. Hours later, done! 🥱Finally, home to sleep and quiet! 🤪Oh and I have no hair!
