💗 step up for breast cancer 💗
Last year, I lost my beautiful Mum to breast cancer. Sadly, my Mum isn’t the only woman I’ve lost to this horrible disease. I also think of all the incredible women who have been taken too soon, the women who are currently fighting, those who have overcome breast cancer, and all the families who have been impacted by it. This year, I’m stepping up with my AF Lisarow Fam and raising money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation in honour of my Mum and Grandma and all of the women whose lives have been affected by breast cancer. I hope that one day, no other family has to experience the heartbreak of losing someone they love to this disease. If you’re able to, I would be so incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small. Every dollar helps support breast cancer research and brings us one step closer to a future where breast cancer no longer takes the people we love. I also want to remind everyone — please don’t forget to look after your own breast health. Make sure you book in for your regular breast screening when you're due, and take the time to check your breasts regularly and get to know what is normal for you. If you notice any changes, please speak to your doctor. This August, our team is taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
We are doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.
