WALKING 222km FOR BREAST CANCER

Support OUR challenge to step up to breast cancer!

Hi everyone,  I’ve decided to commit to this challenge in hopes to raise funds and awareness for all of us women out there. ?

Please have a read of my page and look out for some updates of my journey walking 222km in August for breast cancer with the NBCF??????

I’ll be tracking my distances with Strava and my Apple Watch with daily updates. ??

Right now, 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer every day. It’s way too common and there is hope that one day the burden of this disease can be conquered. 

This August, I am taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease. We are all connected to this cause somehow.

This is in honour of all the women I am surrounded by in so much of my life, through my career in nursing & midwifery, physie, and my family & friends. I believe as women we have a connection through our shared experiences and are here to support each other. 

I’ll be walking 222km (my favourite number) this August, of course a small challenge in the grand scheme of things, to bring awareness to this important cause. Side note: this is equivalent to walking all the way from home to Forster! or one of my favourites places, Old Bar beach
