Friday the 24th of October will be our Pink Ribbon round, uplifting and supporting all women! We will have a raffle and silent auction, with many wonderful prizes generously donated. 

Come on down to Bill Anderson Reserve at 7:30pm and show some support for the National Breast Cancer Foundation! 

Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 Australians die every day from this disease?  

Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia and the most common cancer among females. Every year over 21,000 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s approximately 58 every single day. Since NBCF’s inception in 1994, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 76% to 92% and is still rising. It’s proof that their strategy of investing in world-class research is working. However, it is expected that 9 Australians will lose their lives to breast cancer each day this year – that's 9 mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, sisters, aunts, uncles, friends, and colleagues.
