Support my challenge to step up to breast cancer!
Did you know 58 Aussies are diagnosed with breast cancer every single day? That’s 58 reasons why this August, I’m running 58km in Step Up to Breast Cancer, one kilometre for every person, every day, who’s impacted by this brutal disease.
I’m doing it for the mums, sisters, daughters, friends, aunties, grandmas, and all the legends in between who’ve faced or are facing breast cancer. For me, this one’s personal, breast cancer runs in my mum’s side of the family, and I’ve seen firsthand the toll it takes.
I have previously raised money for the leukaemia foundation but until there’s a cure and I’m going to keep supporting this topic! In 2022 I shaved my hair and donated it to someone who needed it more (yep, fully bald I rocked it, don’t worry) but now I’m lacing up the runners, tackling 58km, and asking you to do the easy part DONATE. I’ll do the sweating; you just click a button.
I’m an active person (ask my knees), and I will smash out these kms — but I need your support to make an actual difference. Let’s raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and keep spreading the word, because breast cancer isn’t picky, it affects families, friends, and people we love.
This July and August I’ll be wearing it pink… pink hair (again). The more visibility the better! if you’d like to join me be my guest :))
