Hope for Heather-lea
Tyson and I are walking/running 58kms this August for the 58 Australia’s diagnosed with Breast Cancer every day.
In 2010, my beautiful mum, Heather-Lea, lost her 8-year battle with breast cancer. Anyone who knew her will tell you how dedicated she was to finding hope and a cure, not just for herself, but for everyone affected.
Cancer continues to touch far too many lives, and there is still no known cure. That’s why we’re stepping up, every kilometre we cover is in honour of our beautiful Mum and everyone else fighting this devastating disease.
To my mum, Heather-Lea we are so proud of the strength and bravery you showed throughout your battle. This fight is now ours too, and we’ll keep walking until we find the cure you believed in.
