Right now, 58 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.
Step Up to Breast Cancer runs for the month of August. For an office that is majority women, I think this is something that is close to us all. We completed this as a team last year and raised over $2,500 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and we did it for Jo Bates who was right in the middle of the biggest battle of her life.
This year, we're walking to raise awareness and funds in memory of our dear friend, Jo. Jo sadly lost her battle with cancer in early 2025, but not without putting up a tremendous fight. She was, without a doubt, one of the toughest, most resilient, and bravest women I’ve ever known.
This August, our team is taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
We are doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.
