Walking 56 km this august for breast cancer
This August, I’m challenging myself to walk 56 kilometres to raise money for the Breast Cancer Foundation. This cause is one that means a lot to me. Over the past couple of years, I’ve had a couple of dear friends go through breast cancer, and seeing their strength, courage and resilience has been incredibly inspiring. Watching them face the physical and emotional challenges of treatment reminded me just how important research, support services and early detection are. Every step I take this month is for them, for everyone currently fighting breast cancer, for those we’ve lost, and for the families standing beside them. If you’re able to, I’d be so grateful for your support. Whether it’s a donation, sharing this post, or simply cheering me on throughout the month, it all makes a difference. Right now, 56 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.
This August, our team is taking part in Step Up to Breast Cancer for the mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loves ones who are impacted by this devastating disease.
We are doing this to raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support vital breast cancer research to help save lives.
