Alison and Vanessa's Step Up to Breast Cancer!
This month, Mum and I will be walking at least 56km in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, raising awareness for the 56 people on average who are diagnosed with breast cancer each day in Australia.
Unfortunately, both Mum and I have been a statistic, being one of those 56 people experiencing firsthand the breast cancer journey.
In 2020, Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and in 2025, I too was diagnosed with breast cancer. After months of intensive treatment, I am now incredibly grateful to say that both Mum and I are all clear and cancer free.
As a result of our own experiences, and in support of others on the same journey, we are raising money for breast cancer research.
