Every day, 57 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 9 people lose their lives to this disease.

We're asking to you to join Step Up to Breast Cancer to walk or run 57km throughout August to raise funds for vital breast cancer research to help save lives. 

Because every death is one too many, and research is critical to better understand, prevent, detect, treat and stop breast cancer from taking the lives of the people we love.

"I received a diagnosis of Triple Negative Breast Cancer in April 2021. At that time, my eldest son was four years old, and my youngest son was just four months old. Enduring intensive treatment, including 16 rounds of chemotherapy, a lumpectomy, and 20 rounds of radiotherapy, I underwent a challenging journey. Following surgery, I achieved the best possible outcome—a pathological complete response. Now, three years post-diagnosis, I am so grateful to say that I am cancer-free."
