Wattle Park Amateurs 2026 Luncheon

By Wattle Park Amateurs

Over $209k raised for Breast Cancer Research since 2015

For the past 10 years the Wattle Park Football Club has been facilitating an annual ladies luncheon to raise funds for breast cancer research.

The inaugural event took place in May 2016 and was started following the passing of Cathy Davis in 2015. Cathy was the mother of current and past Wattle Park Players Harry, Sam and Michael and wife of recent Club President Glen. Cathy passed away after a long and brave battle with Breast Cancer, and this event was established in her honor to support all those who have been subjected to the struggles that a breast cancer diagnosis brings.

Since her passing, through these luncheons and various fundraising endeavours each year, the club has raised over $209,000 for breast cancer research.

In 2025 the club had a record fundraising year, raising over $31,000, and we are looking to go even bigger in 2026. Any support of our event via a donation is greatly appreciated!
