Why I’m Holding This Event 💗

Mum and I have a little café in Tatura, Victoria, and over the years our customers have become so much more than just customers — they are our friends, our community and a very special part of our café family.

Recently, we have had multiple women in our community and among our customers diagnosed with breast cancer. Hearing their stories and watching them navigate such a difficult journey has touched us deeply.

We wanted to do something to show these incredible women that they are not alone. They are surrounded by a community that cares about them, believes in them and is here to support them every step of the way.

These women are incredibly strong, courageous and powerful, and we would love the opportunity to give back to them and show them just how much they mean to us and to our community.

Every day in Australia, 56 people are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people die from the disease. We are holding this event to raise funds for world-class breast cancer research and support the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) in working towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

Every donation, big or small, will make a difference. By coming together as a community, we can show the women around us that they are loved, supported and never alone — while helping fund research that could save lives in the future.
