Five Years Strong

I have been free from Stage 4 Breast Cancer for five years - count them, one, two, three, four, five!     

To recognise this milestone I am holding a quiet celebration afternoon tea for my most cherished supporters.  You have weathered the ups and downs, and lived this journey with me, and supported me every step. I would like to say thank you! 

Only 32% of those diagnosed at Stage 4 Breast Cancer in Australia get to celebrate this and I get to reach this milestone because of the hard work and support of charities like NBCF.

Rather than bringing food or gifts, we would really love for everyone to make a $25 donation to the Breast Cancer Foundation in support of my journey. If you were considering getting me a birthday gift the following week, please donate here in lieu of a gift instead.  Times are tough, and I appreciate that this might be out of reach for some, but a donation of any amount makes a difference.  

Now lets get to the fun stuff - it is never a "Susan" party without games, and prizes and frivolity!

Please dress to impress - there is a prize for the best dressed, with a colour theme of Pink, Green or Teal (or a mix of all three if you are adventurous).      

There will be games- lots of games! Each game you play comes with a donation amount ($1) - this will all go to the charity.  We will keep a tally, the more games you play, the higher your donation.   At the end of the event, the person who has donated the most the wins a prize.  If you really want to up the stakes, share the QR code with friends and ask for them to donate.  We love a little friendly competition and your additional donations go to your tally.

The event starts at our house at 2pm, with a high tea styled menu, we will be providing a welcome cocktail, some wines & beers, along with coffee & tea but if you have a preference for something else please byo.
