I'm now a Pink Hero
Whilst on a club trip, Peter (my husband) badly needed a haircut and a friend offered to shave it off. He accepted the challenge if we could raise some funds to donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, who had supported me so well during my recent bout with breast cancer. The event quickly took place by torchlight whilst camping in a National Park.
The very generous members on our trip raised a substantial amount and suggested we widen the opportunity to others in our club who may wish to donate.
