I'm now a Pink Hero
I'm a bit late to the party but I reckon I can smash out 58km over the days remaining in October- Breast Cancer Awareness month.My reason for getting involved is to honour my beautiful friend Sophie, who sadly lost her battle to breast cancer last month. She was only early 40s and left behind her sweet little 5 year old daughter ?
I wish the mission to zero was achieved before she suffered for the 2.5 years that she did, while all along she held hope, as did I, that she would beat it and my gosh, she tried!
It breaks my heart that 58 people a day are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 9 a day pass away from it.
