St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital is a fully accredited advanced surgical, medical and obstetric hospital situated 5 mins from the Ipswich CBD, servicing the greater Western Brisbane region. St Andrew’s is an acute care hospital committed to providing the highest standard of specialised services, skilled personnel and sophisticated technologies.
The staff on our Surgical Services ward hold an annual Morning Tea Bake Sale in October to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The whole ward gets involved including management and staff right across the hospital, with staff baking sweet and savoury treats and making craft items to sell, as well as putting together hampers with donations from local businesses to raffle off during the month of October. We’ve had everything from hand-stitched quilts to Suncorp Stadium tickets, to bottles of wine and more.
In 2024 we raised $5,166, last year we raised $8218 and this year we are aiming for $10,000!
