Honda Racing Australia Stands with the National Breast Cancer Foundation!
Every day in Australia, 58 people are diagnosed with breast cancer, and tragically, 9 lives are lost. Globally, over 5 million people have been diagnosed with breast cancer in the past three years alone.
At Honda Racing Australia, we believe racing is more than a sport, it’s a community. It’s family. It’s inclusive. Women are an essential part of that community, on the track, in the paddock, and behind the scenes. Supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is not just about awareness, it’s about action, advocacy, and solidarity.
We are proud to launch a campaign to raise both awareness and funds for the NBCF, whose mission is bold and clear: Zero Deaths from Breast Cancer.
This cause is deeply personal to our team. Several of our riders and staff have loved ones who are currently battling cancer or have lost their fight. We wanted to use the platform and noise we create on the racetrack to make an impact that echoes far beyond it.
“All cancers affect more than the person diagnosed, they affect families, friends, entire communities. We race with purpose, and we want those who are suffering to know they’re not alone,” said Team Director Yarrive Konsky. “We’re fortunate to do what we love, and we’re committed to using our voice and our reach to give back.”
Here's how we're making a difference:
Custom Helmet Auction:
Each of our six riders has designed a one-of-a-kind helmet, which will be auctioned off with all proceeds going directly to the NBCF.
Signed Jerseys, Graphic Kits and VIP Experiences:
Two custom, signed jerseys from each rider, a SKDA graphics kit, and four VIP experiences to the Australian Supercross Championship are also up for auction.
Exclusive Quad Lock Helmet:
We’re also auctioning a one-off limited-edition Quad Lock helmet signed by multiple U.S.-based riders, a collector’s piece for a powerful cause.
Limited Edition T-Shirts:
In partnership with our sponsors, we’ve created three unique t-shirt designs (75 of each colour). Thanks to their support, all production costs have been covered, so 100% of proceeds go to the NBCF.
Available online at www.shophondaracing.com and at the track in Warwick.
Why this matters to us:
Honda Racing Australia is committed to fostering equality and inclusion in motorsport. We actively advocate for women in racing, supporting young female riders, creating opportunities, and investing in their growth. This campaign aligns with our values and our responsibility to give back to the people who make our sport possible.
While we’ve chosen to support the NBCF during this campaign, we also acknowledge the devastating impact of all forms of cancer. This is one step in a larger commitment to make a meaningful difference.
We’d like to thank FLY Racing for creating custom racewear that helps drive awareness, SKDA for creating the special graphics, and our partners for their continued support.
Please join us. Donate, bid, or simply share this message. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to a future without breast cancer.
Together, we can stop deaths from breast cancer. Together, we ride with purpose.
