Run With Hope – For My Principal.

By Hendrix

Run for Hope.

Hi,

My name is Hendrix. I am 11 years old.

In October, I will be taking on the Nike Melbourne Marathon, and I have decided to dedicate my run to someone very special to me — my Principal, and my Mum's Friend, Shakeria.

My Principal and I have something pretty special in common… we both love running and marathons! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Over the years, running has given me so many amazing memories, challenges and achievements, and I wanted to use something I love to do to support a cause that means so much.

My Principal is currently taking some time away from school, whilst Shakeria is undergoing treatment, in the mist of trend, I want them to both know that while I'm out there running, I'll be thinking of them and cheering them both along their journey of recovery every step of the way.

So, this marathon isn't just about how many kilometres I can run.

It's about hope. It's about courage. And it's about showing someone that they're never running alone. 💗

I am hoping to raise funds for breast cancer research through the National Breast Cancer Foundation, helping support research that can make a difference for people affected by breast cancer.
If you'd like to support my run, every donation—big or small—will mean so much to me.

I'll run the kilometres. You help me make them count. 🏃‍♂️💗

Thank you for supporting me and helping me dedicate this run to someone very special.
Run. 🌸

Every step is for my Principal, for Shakeria, for those who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and their family & friends. 🌸

Hi.

Thank you for visiting my page.

My name is Hendrix, and I'm an 11-year-old who loves football, running and sport! ⚽🏃‍♂️

I've been playing football since I was little, and when I'm not on the football pitch, you'll often find me out running. I love challenging myself, setting goals and seeing what I can achieve when I put my mind to something.

I've previously taken part in the 2XU Wellness Run, The Run for Kids.

In October, I'm taking on an even bigger challenge — the Nike Melbourne Marathon! 🏃‍♂️💪

But this run is going to be a little different.
I'm dedicating my marathon to someone very special to me — my Principal. We share a love of running and marathons, and I wanted to do something positive that connects us through something we both enjoy. 💗

I'm also hoping to raise money for breast cancer research, because I believe that even though I'm only one person, I can still make a difference.

I'll be training, running, probably complaining about my legs 😂, and most importantly, enjoying every kilometre along the way.

If you'd like to support my journey, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help me reach my fundraising goal and make every kilometre count.

I'll run the kilometres. You help me make them count. 💗

Thank you for supporting me!
