Did you know that every day 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people in Australia die every day from this disease?  

For the last couple years I’ve been lucky enough to work beside the incredible Annie. She started out as my manager but has quickly become a friend, we bonded over being spicy brained mamas with spicy brained kids, being former party girls and always forgetting where we put things or what we were just doing.

Annie recently lost her beautiful mum Glenda to a rare skin cancer and in the aftermath had decided to go and get all her health checks because you never know right? 

Unfortunately through a routine mammogram doctors gave Annie the news no one wants to hear, she has stage 3 breast cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes. She has started treatment in the last 3 weeks and has had to abruptly give up work. She’s my work big sister, a sister herself, a daughter, a partner and most importantly a mum to two beautiful boys.

I've decided to shave my hair and raise money and awareness for her. Annie’s story shows you don’t need symptoms to end up with a diagnosis. Breast cancer affects all ages, it doesn’t discriminate and it’s a cruel beast.

Every donation, big or small, will get me closer to reaching my goal. Together, we can stop deaths from breast cancer.
