Every year in Australia, around 169,500 people are diagnosed with cancer, and approximately 52,700 lose their lives to it. That’s nearly 465 new cases and 145 deaths every single day — a stark reminder of how widespread and devastating this disease is.
I’ve decided to run 25 for cancer.
I’m walking 25km with a fundraising goal of $500 — that’s 2.5km for every $50 raised. Every step supports life-saving research and helps move us closer to a future where fewer lives are lost to cancer.
