Raffle Fundraiser
Over the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend in 2021, at age 30, I detected a tumour in my breast and was quickly diagnosed with breast cancer. I underwent five months of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, a partial mastectomy and five weeks of radiotherapy.
Every day, 58 Australians are diagnosed
with breast cancer.
Every day, 9 people lose their lives to the disease.
Each week, one woman
under the age of 40 dies from breast cancer.
Thanks to critical breast cancer research, I have been able to keep living! Five years on from my detection date, I’m encouraging my friends and family, and others in my community, to donate towards funding further game-changing research into the prevention, detection, and treatment of breast cancer.
