I'm now a Pink Hero
Women in League Round is more than just a weekend of footy, it’s a chance for us to come together as a club to support a cause that’s incredibly close to our hearts.
Most of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, whether it’s a friend, a family member, or someone in our community. Some have survived, and heartbreakingly, some have not. That’s why this round is so important.
Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 9 Australians lose their lives to it daily?
This year, Appin Dogs JRLFC is proudly raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support world-class research with one clear goal: Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
We’re asking our community to stand with us in making a difference. Every donation — big or small — brings us one step closer to that goal. Together, we can save lives and help change the future for so many.
Please support our club’s pledge and help us spread awareness, show support, and honour the women this round represents.
