I'm now a Pink Hero
Every day in Australia, 56 people are diagnosed with breast cancer, and tragically, 9 people lose their lives to this disease.
Seven years ago, I lost my Mum to breast cancer. She loved swimming and was the reason I got into the sport. One of her biggest dreams was to complete the Rottnest Channel Swim.
This year, I'll be completing the Rottnest Channel Swim on the 21st February as a solo swimmer, 20 kilometers, in her memory, while raising funds for world-class breast cancer research through the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), supporting their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to saving lives. Together, we can help stop deaths from breast cancer.
